Electrical Apprentice

Fulltime W-2 Employee - Day Shift

Green Light Electrical Contractors LLC is a privately owned company providing residential and commercial electrical services in Carroll, Baltimore, and Howard County of Maryland. We are looking to hire an electrical apprentice or helper to work for our current staff of electricians.

Responsibilities:

· Work under the direction of an electrician to assist in electrical tasks.

· Work with team members, company management, and customers on a range of tasks as needed.

· Adhere to established company safety, personnel policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

· At least 19 years of age.

· High school diploma or GED Certificate.

· At least 1 year of hands-on, field experience in a construction trade environment (electrical, construction, plumbing, HVAC, painting/drywall,

elevator/escalator).

· Received OSHA-10 training certificate.

· Able to read, write, and speak in English with high proficiency.

· Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

· Legally able to drive and possess reliable transportation; Mileage reimbursable.

· Able to drive to remote sites and perform standard physical duties on a project site.

· Physically fit, able to work 8 hours while standing, able to lift 75 lbs. on a repeating basis.

· Legally able to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

· One year experience as a licensed electrical apprentice.

· Completion of at least one year in a certified electrical apprenticeship program.

· Certified electrical apprentice.

Electrician - Journeyman

Full time W-2 Employee - Day Shift

Green Light Electrical Contractors LLC is a privately owned company providing residential and commercial electrical services in Carroll, Baltimore, and Howard County of Maryland. We are in need of an experienced, journeyman electrician to work on both residential and commercial projects of all levels. May include working with other Green Light staff &/or working alone.

Responsibilities:

· Perform a wide range of hands-on electrical tasks at customer project sites.

· Work in tandem with apprentice(s) &/or master electricians to complete projects.

· Work and communicate in tandem with company management regarding project status.

· Work with team members, company management, and customers on a range of tasks as needed.

· Adhere to established company safety, personnel policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

· Current/active Maryland Electrical Journeyman License.

· Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience performing electrical tasks in the field to include bending conduit, sizing & pulling wire, general code knowledge, knowledge & experience with lighting controls.

· Strong communications skills to interact with customers and company staff.

· Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

· Able to drive to remote sites and perform standard physical duties on a project site.

· Physically fit, able to work 8 hours while standing, able to lift 75 lbs. on a repeating basis.

Master Electrician

Fulltime W-2 Employee - Day Shift

Green Light Electrical Contractors LLC is a privately owned company providing residential and commercial electrical services in Carroll, Baltimore, and Howard County of Maryland. We are in need of an experienced, master electrician to take a lead role in serving both residential and commercial projects of all levels from start to completion. May include working with other Green Light electricians &/or working alone.

Responsibilities:

· Perform a wide range of hands-on electrical tasks at customer project sites.

· Work in tandem with apprentice(s) &/or journeymen in a master/lead role.

· Work and communicate in tandem with company management regarding project status, recommendations, solutions, etc.

· Assist with project estimations for new construction.

· Work with team members and management on a range of tasks as needed.

· Adhere to established company safety, personnel policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

· Current/active Maryland Master Electrician License.

· Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience performing electrical tasks in the field to include bending conduit, sizing & pulling wire, general code knowledge, knowledge & experience with lighting controls.

· Experience coordinating electrical permits and inspections with county authorities.

· Experience in electrical estimation on residential and commercial new construction projects.

· Ability to read, understand, and analyze blueprints, drawings, & models.

· Advanced user knowledge of an electrical estimating software application (ConEst IntelliBid, Accubid, McCormick Pro, Electrical Bid Manager (EBM), etc.).

· Strong communications skills to interact with staff, customers, contractors, and county permitting departments.

· Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

· Legally able to drive and possess reliable transportation; Mileage reimbursable.

· Able to travel to remote sites and perform standard physical duties on a project site.

· Physically fit, able to work 8 hours while standing, able to lift 75 lbs.

· Legally able to work in the United States.
